Our Vision
I see a church in the Tyne Valley:

• that is bustling with people of all ages united in purpose, fervent in prayer, passionate in worship
• that is multigenerational and multicultural working together to build sustainable ministries to serve current and future generations
• that is proactive and outgoing welcoming thousands into the kingdom of God through personal evangelism, community engagement, acts of kindness and social justice
• that is filled with people who love to read and study God’s word, making life choices in line with the principles of the Bible
• whose members are convinced that God’s ways are the best ways and are confident, bold and live with a sense of “all things are possible”
• where children and young people are given opportunity to thrive and learn to relate responsibly with others; to explore avenues of gifting and be released to their God-given assignment
• where the stranger in the land, the lost and broken in society are made to feel welcome and helped to wholeness
• that is influential by promoting the use of technology, social media, arts and drama, the written and spoken word, radio and television to communicate the “Good News” of gospel effectively
• where everyone associated can identify with the vision of the house and feels accepted, valued, loved and useful
• that has facilities to meet the purpose of the vision and is a testimony to the faithfulness of God and those who have worked here in the gospel over the years
• whose influence spans the globe because of a heartfelt passion for mission, prepared to send funding and train teams to “Go and make disciples in every nation”
