Home Church Worship, just for you!

This “Home Church Worship” pack is to assist everyone to have a special time at home on Wednesdays between 7.30pm and 8.30pm.

Proverbs 4:20 – 22 “My son give attention to my words; incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them depart from your sight; keep them in the midst of your heart. For they are life to those who find them, and health to all their whole body.”

An alternative translation says that His Word is “Medicine to all our flesh.” Just like a doctor would prescribe medicine to all his patients, I prescribe the Word of God for you, which is “God’s medicine.” God’s medicine is guaranteed to work if taken according to the directions. Even as a healthy person this will build our faith and give us confidence to pray for others.

God’s prescription for good health

Read through these scriptures audibly two or three times a day depending on the seriousness of your ailment. This will take some time, but this is one thing about God’s medicine. It cannot be taken quickly. God’s Word has creative power. It was the Word of God that was spoken in the beginning that created the universe. (Col. 1:16).

If you take the Word and speak it out of your mouth, believing what you are saying with your lips, it will create and cause good health and the healing that you desire. For Jesus said in Mark 11.23 that you can have whatever you say, if you believe from your heart in the words you are speaking.

Hebrews 4:12 “For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit of both joints and marrow and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart.”

Note: God’s Word is not a dead book, but a living, creative, powerful book when spoken out of believing lips.

Isaiah 55: 10, 11 “For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return there without watering the earth and making it bear and sprout and furnishing seed to the sower and bread to the eater; so shall My word be which goes forth from My mouth; it shall not return to Me empty, without accomplishing what I desire, and without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it.”

God’s Word will accomplish and succeed in whatever area it is applied, in this case healing. If you apply the Scriptures on healing, they will accomplish and succeed in bringing health to you.

Let’s make a good start by reading them out aloud with confidence – it is the WORD OF GOD!

Exodus 20:12 “Honour your father and your mother, that your days be prolonged in the land, which the Lord your God gives you.”

Deuteronomy 5:33 “You shall walk in all the way, which the Lord your God has commanded you that you may live and that it may be well with you and that you may prolong your days in the land which you shall possess.”

Deuteronomy 34:7 “Although Moses was one hundred and twenty years old when he died, his eye was not dim, nor his vigour abated.”

Proverbs 3:1, 2, 7, 8 “My son do not forget my teaching, but let your heart keep my commandments. For length of days of life and peace they will add to you. Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and tum away from evil. It will be healing to your body, and refreshment to your bones.”

Isaiah 53:3 -5, 10 “He was despised and forsaken of men, a man of pains and acquainted with sickness; and like one from whom men hide their face; He was despised, and we did not esteem Him.
Surely our sickness He Himself bore. And our pains He carried; yet we ourselves esteemed Him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But He was pierced through for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the chastening for our well-being fell upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed. But the Lord was pleased to crush Him, putting Him to grief”

Matthew 4:23, 24 “And Jesus was going about in all Galilee, teaching in their Synagogues, and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom and healing every kind of disease and every kind of sickness among the people and the news about Him went out into all Syria; and they brought to Him all who were ill, taken with various diseases and pains, demoniacs, epileptics, paralytics; and He healed them.”

Matthew 8:2, 3 “And behold, a leper came to Him, and bowed down to Him, saying, “Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean and He stretched out His hand and touched him, saying, “I am willing; be cleaned” and immediately his leprosy was cleansed.”

Hebrews 13:8 “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today, yes and forever.”
